In the fall, the Virginia Department of Education released a new method for parents/guardians to receive your child’s test results. The Virginia Assessment Parent Portal is a web-based portal where you can create a user account and gain access to your child’s test results for certain statewide assessments, such as Virginia Growth Assessments and Standards of Learning (SOL) tests. You will be able to review your child’s test score reports, and, in most cases, also be able to view a personalized video. For spring 2022, reports will be available through the Virginia Assessment Parent Portal for SOL tests in Grades 3-8 Reading and Mathematics. As students test, new score reports will become available each Friday and will reflect scores from each test attempt. Score reports from other SOL tests taken this spring will be sent home with final report cards.
