A huge thank you to the Henrico Education Foundation for funding two grants at Seven Pines Elementary.
The Henrico Education Foundation (HEF) continues to make an profound impact on the lives of students within Henrico County. This year, two transformative grants were funded at Seven Pines Elementary. These two grants will pave the way for creation of dynamic learning environments that encourage collaboration, foster critical thinking skills, and support all students in reaching their full potential. As a community we are deeply grateful to HEF for their generosity and vision in making these initiatives a reality.
Dr. Bilello's grant, Creating Inclusive Classrooms, was funded, focusing on groundbreaking initiatives creating inclusive learning spaces where every student feels supported and valued. This grant will allow teachers to tailor their teaching and learning environments to meet the diverse needs of their students.
Ms. Malzahn's, Coding a Community of Critical Thinkers, grant was funded aimed at providing teachers with tools to increase engagement and critical thinking in lessons. By integrating technology into everyday learning, students develop critical skills such as communication, creativity, and problem-solving - all while working in collaborative, team-based environments that mirror the workforce of tomorrow.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Henrico Education Foundation for their continued support and partnership in fostering an environment where every student can flourish.
